Yoga + Self-Compassion LIVE


The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali offer ahimsa, non-harming or compassion as the first limb of yoga. For many of us the most challenging being to offer compassion towards is ourself. We tend to hold high expectations of ourselves, push down “negative” emotions feeling they aren’t “yogic” and punish ourselves for perceived shortcomings. 

​In this course we will explore techniques to allow ourselves to experience the full realm of emotions moving through the body with self-compassion. When we experience these emotions without aversion they provide powerful guidance that draws us closer to unconditional love.

This workshop will be delivered over 4 sessions from 12:00pm-1:15pm at Yoga Public South Studio.
Saturdays September 19th, 26th, October 3rd and October 10th.
