Hi there! Thank you for dropping in. I’m passionate about living life from the heart and love to share with others.
A bit about me…I was born with a big imagination and a love of dance. My first career was in dance and my first heart break was losing the ability to dance due to a back injury. I fell down a joyless path for a while pursuing careers that weren’t authentic for me like accounting and corporate recruiting. Determined to find something I loved as much as dance, I decided to pursue any interest I had one step further to see what I could find. This led me to study the enneagram, coaching, healing work and YOGA.
Through yoga I realized that the pain in my body was caused by a lack of self-compassion. I never appreciated my body and was very unkind and punishing towards myself. Changing my relationship with my body healed it and now 20 years later, my spine is healthier and more flexible than it has ever been in my life.
The foundation of yoga is compassion and I believe when we learn to treat ourselves with compassion we are more able to treat others with compassion. Compassion isn’t always easy, sometimes it means being with ourselves as we move through pain and discomfort so we can learn from our pain instead of running from it. It also means listening to our inner voice so we can follow our authentic path despite external resistance and live more joyfully. I’m here to support students who wish to change their relationships with themselves and truly believe that compassion will heal the world.
